Uzhgorod got a chance

 The team of the "Open City" project congratulate the winners of e-voting – communities of Chernivtsi (170 votes), Uzhgorod (156 votes) and Dnipropetrovsk (70 votes).

Applications of NGOs filed from these cities for the competition within the project will receive additional 5 points when considered by the expert board. 
In total, 1239 active residents cast their ballots for the European future of their 25 hometowns.

Recall: The project "Open City: increased participation of citizens in the development of local community" is aimed at introducing innovative mechanisms for citizens’ participation in solving local problems, setting up effective cooperation of citizens and local government, public self-activation. The project is implemented with the support from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation (USA).
