Transcarpathian Military Commissioner met with reporters

In Uzhgorod Press Club, there was a meeting of the Military Commissioner of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Commissariat Colonel I Vasyltsyun with regional journalists and members of the Public Council of the city. The meeting was also attended by mothers and relatives of the soldiers who are serving in the ​​ATO area in the East.

Ivan Vasyltsyun noted that the decree on partial mobilization had expired on 20.06, they had additionaly mobilized servicemen according to the requirement of the General Staff. "Today, there is too much stress in the society, false information is spread. In particular, about 19 bodies of Transcarpathian soldiers, which allegedly are kept in Uzhgorod hospital," – the colonel said. According to him, this information is not true. In addition, Ivan Vasyltsyun addressed the media asking them not to spread unverified information and wait for official news from the military.      

Mothers of Transcarpathian soldiers, who are serving in the East of Ukraine, complained to the Military Commissioner of the Transcarpathian regional military commissariat, Colonel Ivan Vasyltsyun about the conditions of the soldiers and asked to send Transcarpathian boys home. Soldiers’ mothers were tearfully asking for the rotation of soldiers and mothers, whose sons have not yet gone to the East, said that they would not let their children go. "We will block all roads, but will not let the children go anywhere! I have only one son, I am from Luhansk myself, and I know what is going on there. I will not let my child go there!" – one of the mothers said.

 

 

They also mentioned that men, who come to Transcarpathia from the East, should go and defend their region, instead of Transcarpathian men and boys. According to the Military Commissioner of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Commissariat, Colonel Ivan Vasyltsyun, the men, who have come to Transcarpathia from Luhansk and Donetsk regions, will be registered in the military commissariat later. According to him, currently, this procedure is not implemented, but after a while, the people displaced from other areas to Transcarpathia will be checked by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and then they will be registered in the military commissariat.
