“Goverla” continues to lose players

Uzhgorod “Goverla” risks to lose most of the major players before the start of the next championship of Ukraine: over the recent time, there has been a lot of reports that certain players of this team will not continue to play for it.

Thus, according to recent reports, Romanian striker Marius Niculae is not in the training camp of the Transcarpathian team. And before that, it was reported that three players, whose contracts with the club have expired – Damien Le Tallec, Razvan Cocis and Sotiros Balafas – were leaving “Goverla”.

Also, on-loan players of “Goverla” Serhiy Lyulka, Vitaliy Bujalsky (both from “Dynamo”) and Vyacheslav Sharpar (“Metalist”) have returned to their clubs.

At the bus station in Uzhgorod, a man gave a female journalist a slap

Uzhgorod police quickly identified the man who hit the senior editor of one of the TV programs on the Tisa-1 in the face.

On June 28, at 07.50, a 23-year-old journalist of the Transcarpathian Regional State TV and Radio Company “Tisa-1” reported to Uzhgorod city police that in the building of the bus station in Uzhgorod, an unidentified man had hit her in the face.

The investigative group of the city police immediately arrived at the scene. It was found that the offense had been committed by a 55-year-old resident of Uzhgorod motivated by the misunderstanding that had arisen between him and the victim while purchasing a ticket for a bus.

Currently, the pensioner is talking to the police officers. This incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations, and the criminal proceeding was opened under Part 1 of Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional minor bodily injury), punishable by a fine of up to fifty free minimum incomes, or community service for a period of up to two hundred hours, or correctional labor for up to one year.

A Mukachevo resident was sentenced to 6 years in prison for manipulation with drugs

In late May, the trial of the criminal proceeding against a 35-year-old man finished. For sales of psychotropic substances, storage and cultivation of narcotic plants, the resident of Mukachevo was sentenced to 6 years in prison.

Last summer, Mukachevo police officers arrested the 35-year-old man “red-handed”, while he was selling a psychotropic substance – methamphetamine. Near the railway station in Mukachevo, the previously convicted man was selling a white powder. In addition, during the search, the policemen found marijuana in the pockets of the suspect. However, those were not all of illegal activities of the man. At home, on the land plot, the man had a mini-plantation for cultivation of cannabis. In total during the search, they seized 27 bushes of the narcotic plant.

The man, a father of two young children, was not working, and was making money in this illegal way. In the past, he had already been criminally charged for drug possession. During the pre-trial investigation and the trial of the criminal proceeding, the suspect did not plead guilty.

However, in court, the prosecutor of Mukachevo Ruslan Galetsky provided unequivocal evidence of his guilt, drew attention to the gravity and high social danger of the crime. Therefore, the court sentenced the resident of Mukachevo to 6 years in prison.

As a result of the constructive discussion between the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and the President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Serhiy Bubka, all parties agreed that Ukraine would direct its efforts to the fight for the right to host the Winter Olympics in 2026, and would not continue to fight for the Olympics 2022.

The net investment position of Ukraine has improved by 9%

The negative value of the net investment position of Ukraine, which is the difference between assets and liabilities to non-residents, in the first quarter of 2014 decreased by 7.006 billion dollars, or by 9.19% – to 69.23 billion dollars.

This is stated in the notice of the NBU.

According to the notice, in the first quarter of 2014, the assets of Ukraine fell by 3.43% or 4,759 billion dollars – to 133.984 billion dollars, liabilities – by 5.47% or 11.765 billion dollars – to 203.214 billion dollars.

As reported, a negative value of the net investment position of Ukraine in 2013 increased by 16.933 billion dollars, or by 28.3% – to 76.82 billion dollars.

The contraband of special equipment was detained at the Chop Customs (PHOTOS)

On June 27, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine together with customs officials detained a citizen of Ukraine “G”, born in 1977, while she was attempting to illegally import to Ukraine special equipment for secret obtaining of information.

During the customs control, in the car, that the citizen “G” was crossing the border in, they found items in the form of pens, key rings, lighters, watches – a total of ten items.

According to the results of the examination, it was found out that the seized items were technical devices for secret obtaining and recording of audio, photo and video information, which are prohibited for free circulation in Ukraine.

At this time, urgent investigative actions over this fact continue – the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine reported.
