The final stage of the children’s art competition "The state budget through the eyes of a child" took place in Kyiv where three children from Transcarpathian region took prizes. The organizer of the contest is the Ministry of income and taxes of Ukraine. Its goal is the education of tax culture, formation of knowledge and understanding of the economic literacy among students.

Transcarpathian winners of the children’s art competition "The state budget through the eyes of a child – 2014" in the category "Computer Graphics (computer animation)" are Yevhen Simon, who took the first place in the first age group (9-11 years), with the work titled "Country of honesty." In the second age group Ivanna Kobuley won the first place with the work "Budget of the bee family." Yevhen and Ivanna live in Svalyava district, go to Polyana secondary school.

In the category of "Literary works" (II age group), which featured works of students of 12-15 years old, Anastasia Kodrish from Irshava District took the third place for the work "Ivan Budget weekly." Anastasia is a student of Irshava school № 2.

In total, the contest received 13 thousand children’s work from all over Ukraine. 137 of them, including works of Transcarpathian kids, made it to the final. Artistic and literary works, computer animation – this whole palette of works of young talents was assessed by competent jury: scientists, artists, journalists and social activists.

Insightful children’s vision of budget and the theme of the competition did not leave jury members indifferent and it turned out to be very difficult to choose the winners.
