The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has instructed the Ministry of Social Policy within a month to prepare and submit to the Government’s review the proposals for substantial increase of the aid for orphans and poor families by the end of 2013 and for 2014.
The Prime Minister gave the relevant order during the Cabinet meeting on March 6, 2013.
"Carefully calculate all the financial capabilities and resources needed. We will have to take them into account when making changes to the state budget in the first quarter" – Mykola Azarov said.
Also, he noted that state social assistance to orphans and children deprived of parental care, who are brought up under the care, custody and in foster families, family-type orphanage, has been increased from January 1, 2013: up to 1,944 UAH for a child under 6 years, up to 2,420 UAH for child from 6 to 18 years.
