The issue of housing in one location has been resolved

The dormitory at Bogomolets Street, 18/22 has officially become an apartment building, the press service of Uzhgorod city council informed.

Currently, 82 families live in 66 apartments here, the house committee "Seamstress" has been formed. The procedure for transfer and reconstruction of the dormitory is being completed. Previously, the building was on the balance sheet of the "Uzhgorod Clothing Factory" JSC, nowit is  finally owned by the city.

According to the Acting Mayor Victor Shchadey, the City Council has prepared the necessary appeals to the state registration service. The dorm residents are gathering necessary documents to conclude lease contracts with further privatization of the building. "Finally, in one more multistory building, people will be able to privatize apartments and do not worry about their homes," – Victor Shchadey said.
