From the 11th to the 14th of April, WAKO Kickboxing Championship of Ukraine among boys and juniors, which is the main competition of the year, was taking place in Brovary. The prestigious tournament was attended by about 1300 participants from 24 regions.
Competitions were held in all types of kickboxing on 4 tatami and two rings.
The team of Transcarpathian region was comprised of 5 clubs, including Korolovych team from the city of Uzhgorod which showed a remarkable result: five boxers won 10 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze awards.
Thus, the Korolovych team ranked 4th among 123 clubs! And the Transcarpathian team ranked 8th among 24 regions.
