The meeting of Khust district court, which was scheduled for 16.30 and which was to consider the request of the prosecution on the forced treatment of Nahirny did not happen. Not only Nahirny failed to show up but his lawyers too.
According to the correspondent of uzhgorod.in, the lawyer Nemesh sent a message that he was ill, and therefore could not be present at the trial. Another Nahirny’s lawyer – Popovich – never informed the court about the reasons for his absenteeism.
The defense asked the court to start hearing without the accused and his lawyers, but the public prosecutor opposed, stressing out that this is not allowed by law. As a result, the meeting was postponed again. At this moment the judge, prosecutor and lawyer of the victims decide when the next attempt is to be appointed.
