In Transcarpathia, “space” was handed to the police

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the transfer of the management of the immovable property belonging to the State Space Agency in Mukachevo (Transcarpathian region) to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The corresponding order was adopted at the Cabinet meeting on March 6, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers informed.

The draft regulation provides for the transfer of the Agency’s buildings, located at the Western center of radio observations in Mukachevo, to the MIA.

It is expected that the property will be used to house a number of structural units of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region. "Operation and maintenance of the transferred property will be carried out within the expenditures provided for the MIA" – the Cabinet said.

The government believes that once the police receive adequate office space, it will have "a positive impact on functioning and quality of the work of the MIA office in Transcarpathian region."
