Flood in Transcarpathia is unavoidable. Actually, it is already happening. Like every spring, water management experts explain. The only question is, what kind of flood it will be: destructive or not.
This week, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that 5 regions of Ukraine were not ready to flood, and among them he named Transcarpathia. But local experts disagree. They stress out that they work every day to minimize the risk of damage that can be caused by water to the population.
