At the disposal of the Ministry of income and taxes, which is in the process of liquidation, there are two polygraphs, which a number of the Ministry employees will be tested on.
This was announced by the Deputy Minister of income and taxes Mykhailo Nonyak at the press conference at the Ukrinform, the correspondent of the agency reported.
"Igor Bilous (appointed as the head of the State Fiscal Service) supports this idea. We need to do some some polygraph tests of the people to be appointed on senior positions in the ministry," – the Deputy Minister of income and taxes said.
According to him, it is planned to test employees of the central staff of the Ministry, heads of departments, regional offices, as well as customs and tax police offices.
According to Nonyak, from March 15 to June 15, following internal investigations, 188 criminal proceedings regarding official activities of the Ministry of Income were opened, the amount of probable losses in which is more than 146 million hryvnia.
