Today, during the extraordinary session of the regional council, deputies approved the program of logistics for the 4th Battalion of territorial defense, military units and other participants of the antiterrorist operation, located in the region.
74 deputies voted for the decision. The deputies propose to allocate 6.4 million hryvnias for the program. The program activities will be financed according to applications of military units commanders and department heads of other participants of the antiterrorist operation approved by the military commissar of the Transcarpathian region and the regional council committee on the budget. These funds are to be used for the provision of Transcarpathian military personal with means of individual protection, communication and equipment to ensure combat readiness and effective execution of tasks.
Deputies recommended district and city councils of the region to adopt appropriate programs and allocate funds for their implementation.
The Treasury was instructed to make payments within three days after the receipt of payment documents to finance this program. It was also proposed to allow military commissariats to purchase necessary means without tender procedures, as tenders can significantly delay the time to implement the program.
