14 families of killed Transcarpathian soldiers will receive 100 thousand from the regional budget

At the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Regional Council on Labour, Employment and Social Welfare (Chairman Anton Livrints), the main issues on the agenda was provision of cash assistance to families of Transcarpathian soldiers who died during the antiterrorist operation in the east.

Recall that on June 26, during an extraordinary session, the deputies decided to allocate from the regional budget 100,000 UAH to each family of the killed Transcarpathian soldiers.  The deputies made the appropriate amendments to the program "Care" to strengthen social protection in 2014.

July 11, four families of the victims already received 100 thousand, on July 21 – four more families will receive the same amount.

The Acting Head of the Social Welfare Department of the Transcarpathian Military Commissariat Ivan Boklakh was reporting at the meeting of the Committee. Deputies were given a list of five Transcarpathian soldiers killed in the ATO area. By the decision of the committee, families of those soldiers will receive 100,000 UAH from the regional budget.

Deputies also supported the proposition to provide assistance for Transcarpathian soldiers who have been injured in the course of the ATO. Deputies instructed the Department of Social Welfare of the RSA to draft changes to the program "Care", which would provide for funding for this purpose.  Also, at the meeting, they proposed to support the soldires who need rehabilitation too. Such rehabilitation may be provided in Transcarpathian resorts.
