Young Uzhgorod athlete won the European Cup in Taekwon-Do

These days, the prestigious Taekwon-do competition – the European Cup – is taking place in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca.

Among the athletes from Ukraine, Uzhgorod athlete Daryna Korolovych is taking part in the tournament. In her category, she had three fights. In the first one, she confidently defeated an athlete from Belarus and proceeded to the semifinals. The second fight turned out to be very difficult, but eventually by the split decision of the judges Dasha defeated her opponent from Bulgaria.

In the final fight, the talented Uzhgorod girl confidently defeated another Bulgarian athlete and became the winner of the European Cup!
