Young Khust residents made decorations for the city’s main Christmas tree with their own hands

The youngest master is only 4 years old

On Nezalezhnist Square, in Khust they set up a Christmas tree. It is 15 meters high. This year’s forest beauty is particularly nice, and aslo exudes a special warmth and love of children’s hands. Because, the decorations for the main Christmas tree of the city were made by kids.

The pupils of kindergartens, schools and non-school institutions of the city over the Tisa competed for the honor to make decorations for the Christmas tree. The youngest participant of the competition, held these days in the city center of youth scientific and technical creativity, has just turned 4 years old, and the oldest one – 14.  109 works were presented at the competition, and all of them are very interesting, beautiful and unusual.

After long considerations, the jury finally decided to award 39 participants. In addition, the works of three students – Alina Panas, Zoran Vasylynets and Adelina Buchok – are currently representing Khust at the regional exhibition of creative young people in Uzhgorod.

Traditionally, the main Christmas tree of the city will be illuminated on St. Nicholas day.
