The famous among the European public ethno-band from Transcarpathian region goes to the capital of Transcarpathia with a new album. Since the unique Hudaki Village Band are rare guests here, it is not to be missed!
The only solo concert of the ethno-group after a nearly three-year break will be held in Uzhgorod on March 2.
Nine members in the Hudaki Village Band (Nyzhnye Selyshche, Transcarpathia) will present their new CD "Yo!".The recording started back in 2016 (two-week studio in Belgium), and, finally, was completed at five studio sessions in Uzhgorod. With "Yo!" you will feel the new dimension of Ukrainian traditional music with the impeccable flavor of the Transcarpathian Maramures – the musicians invite.
The album "Yo!" will also be available as vinyl. The design of the disk (booklet) consists mainly of the photographs by Kyiv photographer Oleksandr Hlyadelov. In early December, the band released a music video "Rekity" made by famous director Anna Buryachkova. The shooting took place from August to October 2017 in Berlin and in the native village of Hudaki – Nyzhnye Selyshche. With these new attributes, Hudaki Village Band continues to perform mostly at European venues and festivals, as it has long been one of the most successful Ukrainian music groups on the international scene.
