Yesterday, Transcarpathian policemen recorded four cases of drunk driving

Throughout the day, Transcarpathian police officers caught four drunk drivers. These offenses were recorded in Perechyn, Khust, Vynogradiv and Mizhhirya districts.

In the village of Nyzhnye Selyshche in Khust district, rapid response team stopped a car "Mercedes Sprinter" because the car was exceeding the speed limit and the driver was not wearing seat belt. It turned out that the car was driven by a 43-year-old local resident with obvious signs of intoxication.  The man refused from examination, so a doctor determined the degree of intoxication visually – medium. 

In Vynogradiv district, in the village of Velyki Komiaty, policemen stopped a car "VAZ-2107", the driver of which was doing dangerous maneuvers while driving. The driver had no documents. With obvious signs of intoxication, the latter also refused from examination. In the presence of the witnesses, two reports of administrative offenses were drawn up against him: under Art.130 of the CAO (driving while intoxicated) and Art. 126 of the CAO (driving by a person who does not have necessary documents). 

In Mizhhirya, on Shevchenko Street, policemen stopped a car " Chevrolet Aveo" with broken rear license plate backlight. It was driven by a 24-year-old resident of the village of Nehrovets in Mizhhirya district with signs of intoxication. This was confirmed during medical ezamination in the emergency department of the district hospital, where a special device showed 0.88 ppm of alcohol in the driver’s blood. 

Perechyn policemen stopped in the district center a car "Opel Vivaro". The driver violated a traffic sign when taking the main road. The car was driven by a 26-year-old local resident with symptoms of intoxication. He admitted to the police officers that he had had two bottles of beer. Drager showed 0.25 ppm of alcohol in his blood. 

Administrative reports under Art.130 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (driving while being intoxicated) were drawn up aganist all the offenders. They will be sent to court.
