Every year on September 22, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Partisan Glory. On the eve of the holiday, old veterans of the underground from all over the region gathered in Uzhgorod to meet with representatives of regional authorities.
Now, only 40 representatives of the partisan underground movement are left in Transcarpathia. 18 of them came to Uzhgorod, the press center of the RSA reported.
