The police has started investigation over the accident near the village of Hankovytsya in Svalyava district.
Yesterday, July 10, near the village of Hankovytsya in Svalyava district, there was an accident which resulted in the death of the driver of a car Opel Combo. Another victim of the accident ended up in the intensive care unit of a local hospital.
At the scene, the police found out that the driver of the Opel Combo lost control and collided with a car Opel Safira.
The driver of the Opel Combo died on the spot and a passenger of the Opel Safira was injured and currently is in the intensive care unit of Svalyava district hospital.
The police started criminal proceeding over this incident under Part 2 of Art. 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the rules of traffic safety or operation of transport by a person driving a vehicle that caused the death of the victim or caused grievous bodily harm).
The investigation continues.
