During the day, Transcarpathian rescuers continued to help the population, the SES of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region informs.

Due to the unfavorable weather conditions in the territory of Transcarpathia (rainfall, strong wind), rescuers had to help the population and restore the normal living conditions of the Transcarpathians.

Thus, during February 5, 10 trees fell due to strong wind gusts. In almost all cases, they fell on the roads. However, in the village of Zahorb in Velyky Berezny district, a tree fell on an outbuilding. Fortunately, no one was hurt. All trees were cut into pieces and taken away. In total, rescuers sawed 27.5 cubic meters of wood.

Also, due to the wind, during the day of February 5, a number of settlements in the territory of 3 districts of the region were left without power supply.

Emergency crews of power engineers are now working there.

Also, yesterday, the SES units of the region assisted drivers in towing 6 vehicles that could not drive through the mountain passes of Volovets and Rakhiv districts on their own.
