Today, on December 10, at about 13.30, traffic on the pedestrian bridge in Uzhgorod was blocked. A lot of Uzhgorod residents, who needed to get to the other bank of the Uzh, gathered on both ends of the bridge.
However, it was nothing extraordinary. It’s just that on the eve of Christmas and New Year holiday, the Christmas tree was delivered to Teatralna Square. And since the route ran through Petofi Square across the pedestrian bridge, patrol policemen blocked the bridge for a while. Purely for the safety of pedestrians themselves.
A truck transported the Christmas tree across the bridge and it has already been set up in the usual spot. Now we are waiting for it’s decoration, and then – a merry Mykolaychyk Parade.
