Soon, a musical road will appear in Hungary, the MyHungary.Net informs. A consortium which includes Austrian concern Strabag won the contract for the construction. In total, 20.4 kilometers of the road will be reconstructed and newly constructed. The highway R67 was chosen for the project. The road will be covered with small grooves, which will be located a certain distance from each other. When driving on the road at a certain speed – 110 km / h, drivers will be able to hear the popular song "Route 67" by the band "Republic".
The first known musical road in the world appeared in Denmark in 1995. Such roads also exist in Japan, the US and South Korea.
