In the village of Balazher in Beregovo district, there was a fire in a residential building. Residents of the village reported it to the rescuers. While extinguishing the fire, rescuers found in one of the rooms the body of an 18-month-old boy, the Rescue Service in Transcarpathian region reported.
17 firefighters and two tankers were engaged in the firefighting operation.
The fire destroyed the roof and the ceiling of the house over the area of 80 sq,m. as well as some of the household property.
The cause of the fire and other circumstances of the case are being established by law enforcement officers.
