Where is the Czech paverment going? (Photofact)

In the very center of Uzhgorod, near Narodna Square, old pavement is missing in some spots on the sidewalk and the roadway.

The sidewalk on Mendeleev street is not the only place where we will never see the authentic pavement again, in some places it was replaced with "modern" one, where one block is three times the size, elsewhere the roads look like this.

We wonder, where is the old cobblestone from Uzhgorod streets going and why don’t they fix the damaged pavement properly?
