Abnormally early and warm spring caused a sudden March blooming of the main Transcarpathian exotic plants. Cherry, magnolia and "berries" gradually burst with flowers. Next is the Valley of daffodils near Khust.
Tourism expert Oleksandr Koval hopes that the peak of daffodil blooming will be on the May Day celebrations, adding more charms for those who want to spend these days in Transcarpathia.
However, the Head of the Department of Botany of Uzhgorod National University Oleg Kolesnikov believes that the heat will make more significant adjustments to the period of Transcarpathian daffodil flowering. In his opinion, cherry blossom will smoothly "flow" to the white valley near Khust. And the main spring miracle of Transcarpathia this year should be expected in 2 weeks.
