While residents of the village of Mynai in Uzhgorod district were away to celebrate the New Year, burglars broke into their home. The criminals were detained red-handed.
At two in the morning, alarm was triggered in a private house under the police protection. The operator of the central monitoring desk immediately sent a detention group at the scene. The crew arrived there within minutes. During the examination of the surrounding area, the police officers immediately noticed that someone had illegally entered into the house.
During the examination of the scene, the police officers noticed two young men. Seeing the police, they tried to run away. Wasting no time, the policemen ran after them, and the offenders were detained. Both suspects were residents of Uzhgorod aged 36 and 24.
In addition to damaged alarm equipment, the intruders broke the window of the car in the garage.
Currently, the persons suspected of attempted burglary are in custody, investigation activities are being carried out at the scene.
Meanwhile, the police officers once again appeal to citizens asking to take care of their homes.
