What, where, when on weekend in Transcarpathia (12 – 13 of November)

November 12 – closing of the Week of Hungarian Cinema "Hungarian Rhapsody", which is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the revolution. Film "Hanussen" (1988), dir. Istvan Szabo. (after World War I, Klaus Schneider begins a new life and becomes a known hypnotist and clairvoyant attracting the attention of Nazi leaders. Nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe in the category "Best foreign language film") (entrance fee is 20 UAH) (Ilko gallery, Uzhgorod).

November 12 – the Foundation "Stevia" celebrates the 10th anniversary. The event is timed to the World Diabetes Day. The beginning is at 15.00 (Puppet Theatre, Uzhgorod).

November 12 – 13 – Traditional Petanque Tournament "St. Martin". November 12 – duplets, November 13 – triplets. The beginning is at 9.00 (Peremoha Park, Mukachevo).

November 12 – 13 – St. Martin Day (1700th anniversary of the Martin of Tours, the patron saint of Mukachevo). November 12 – 11.00 – 21.00. – festival camp.

14.00 – 17.00 – medieval camp (costumes, paraphernalia, souvenirs, archery, medieval guns, horseback riding); joust in honor of St. Martin "Metal Heart" with the participation of representatives from different regions of Ukraine. November 13 – 11.00 – 21.00. – festival camp.

From 14.00 – entertainment program with the participation of giants on stilts in medieval clothes; workshops on archery, music, dancing (Peremoha Park, Mukachevo).

November 13 – Weekend Music. Solo concert "Solo tu…" from Oleksandr Tovt. This time, in addition to well-known Ukrainian songs, popular international hits (English, French and Italian), we will also hear Oleksandr Tovt’s own songs. The beginning is at 17.00 (Regional Philharmonic, Uzhgorod).

November 13 – Alekseev – Ukrainian singer, semifinalist of the 5th season of the television show "The Voice", winner of the 2016 YUNA awards as "Discovery of the Year" (ticket price – 100-380 UAH.). The beginning is at 19.00 (Regional Music and Drama Theater, Uzhgorod).

– Exhibition of the co-founder of the Transcarpathian school of art, People’s Artist of the USSR Yosyp Bokshay – in honor of the 125th anniversary of the artist. Overall, it will feature 80 works from the museum’s collection. Charitable FoundationY.Bokshay Charitable Foundation will contribute to the exhibition by providing archival materials, children’s drawings, front sketches made by Yosyp Bokshay in captivity. Every day, except Monday, 10.00 -18.00 (Art Museum, Uzhgorod).

– Exhibition of works by Pavlo Kutlan. 11.00 – 15.00 (exhibition hall "Impasto", Vynogradiv).

– Exhibition "10x5x0 = 0 "Black Square of Transcarpathia. 0", which is dedicated to a landmark event – the creation of the painting by Kazimir Malevich "Black Square". Exhibitors – Serhiy Biba, Natalia Moskalyova, Serhiy Lakatos, Igor Lutsenko. Curator – Volodymyr Filipov. (Franko’3 / coffee & gallery, Franko st., 3, Rakhiv).

– Exhibition of paintings "Slice of contemporary art of Transcarpathia". The collection of nearly 70 works by over 30 authors (the atrium of the RSA building, Narodna Square, Uzhgorod).

– Exhibition of works by Mykhailo Vorokhta "Colors of the native land" on the occasion of the anniversary (District House of Culture, Rakhiv).
