"The police Uzhgorod" is the theme of the next traditional free tour of the Transcarpathian regional center that will take place on February 8.

"The tour in time is a journey to the events that have influenced the development of the city, culture and community in the past. Gendarme, policeman, cop… This profession has had many names.Both formal and colloquial. Law enforcement officers were called differently not only in different times, but in different states. Transcarpathia in the twentieth century was part of several states. Thus, the police here has its own, unique history. Personalities, events, legends, and actually the history of the main law enforcement body of the region (from Austria-Hungary until now) is the theme of the Uzhgorod open tour" – the announcement on the official page of "Open Tours" in the social network FB states.
