Transcarpathian students center of tourism, local history, excursions and sports is out-of-school educational institution that operates in the Ukrainian education system. It was founded as long ago as in 1951, and since then it has managed to raise a lot of generations of tourists, climbers, cavers, cyclers, orienteers, and just active, healthy in body and spirit people.
The institution has 59 clubs, where almost a thousand children are currently engaged in!
So how do the children and youth spend time in the center of tourism? In addition to the usual classes in classrooms and gyms, they will do spectacular hiking, travels, expeditions and excursions. For young history buffs in the center there is the "School of a young archaeologist."
In addition, young tourists can go on a nationwide tourism and local history expeditions: "The history of cities and villages of Ukraine", "My Motherland – Ukraine", "Know your country" where they will be engaged in search and research work.
The children have the opportunity to grow by taking part in competitions in various kinds of hiking, biking, orienteering and others.
What is important is that lessons, camping trips and competitions for members of groups are free of charge.
So if your child wants and loves to travel, learn the history, culture, way of life and the nature of the land, if you want him or her to develop physically and become active and independent, without hesitation send him or her to the Transcarpathian tourism center.
