What do your children know about the country’s budget? (Photo)

"The country’s budget through the eyes of a child – 2014" – more than 500 children’s pieces of art from Transcarpathian region, and as many as 13 thousand from all parts of Ukraine.  In Transcarpathia, the works of young talents were assessed by scholars, critics, journalists, tax officers and civil society activists. 18 works won at the regional level, the best 6 of which were sent to the national level. As it turned out later, it was the right choice, because at the national level, Transcarpathian children won two first prizes and one third prize.

The solemn awarding of the winners of the regional and natinal contest "The country’s budget through the eyes of a child" was held in the Conference Room of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region.

Today the winners of the children’s art contest "The country’s budget through the eyes of a child" received diplomas and valuable gifts, and also art books and textbooks "Basics of tax knowledge." Thus, the aim of the contest for education of tax culture and building of knowledge and understanding of the economic literacy among students in 2014 has been achieved, so they can prepare for the next year’s competition.

Recall that the competition "The country’s budget through the eyes of a child" was launched in 2002. Students of secondary schools aged between 9 to 15 can take part in it. The competition is held in the following areas of children’s creativity in tax and customs topics: fiction; literary works; computer graphics (computer animation).
