At the opening ceremony, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal first of all announced a minute of silence to honor the Heroes of the Heaven’s Hundred and those Heroes who now give their lives in the undeclared war for the freedom of Ukraine. Then, the head of the region said: "I bow my head before all Transcarpathians who participated in the Revolution of Dignity. I know that there were a lot of them, and their role was significant. Many of them are now fighting for Ukraine in the East as volunteers. I say the words of respect for the living and gratitude – for the dead. We are all responsible to them. And we must prove by our actions that we continue their struggle for the building of the state, which we will be proud of. Glory to Ukraine and the glory to its heroes."

The Regional Council Chairman Volodymyr Chubirko stressed that the goals of the Revolution can not be considered achieved, and all of us have to be the "second front" in our regions, in our cities and villages – to build a strong, prosperous and fair nation.
