One of the first candidates for the mayor of Uzhgorod is… not from Uzhgorod. A member of "Svoboda" Eduard Leonov admitted that he would run for the mayor of Uzhgorod.

The head of the Transcarpathian regional organization of the "Svoboda" stated that on August 13 on the "Tisa" TV channel.

"I have been living in Uzhgorod for a long time and I know that the citizens deserve better government than the current one. Therefore, I’m running for the mayor of Uzhgorod!" – the candidate explained in social networks.

So, who’s next? It is already clear that the elections for the post of Uzhgorod mayor will be more than fierce.
