Water level in the Transcarpathian rivers is rising

– As of 10.00, Friday (24.02), water level in the Latorytsya river has risen by 70 cm, in the Teresva river – by 45 cm, in the Uzh river – by 45 cm, in the Borzhava river – by 30 cm – the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal said. – The most significant rise of the water level is recorded in the Tisa river – near the village of Vylok (Vynogradiv district), the flood wave height is 3 meters.

However, there is no threat of water breaking onto the floodplain and flooding there. In the afternoon, gradual decrease of water level is expected, flood wave will go down the Latorytsya, the Tisa and the Uzh to neighboring countries.
