The water level in major rivers of the region continues to rise because of Monday rain and snow melting in the highlands. The highest rise of water is recorded in the Tisa, which has risen by 90 cm near Tyachiv, Khust and Vylok. There is no threat of water bursting out of the river channel and subsequent flooding.
In the Latorytsya, flood wave has risen to 40 cm and on Tuesday morning (7.03) is passing through Mukachevo. In Uzhgorod district, the water is on the floodplain, but no farmlands or private properties are flooded. In the Borzhava and the Teresva, the water level has risen to 30 cm, there is no threat of flooding, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informed.
