By the end of October, in Ukraine there will be relatively warm weather. Precipitation is not expected. In Transcarpathia, on Thursday the temperature will be +22 – the State of Emergencies Service of Ukraine informed.
"During the week, in Ukraine, except for the north and north-east part, dry warm weather will be prevailing. Temperature on some days will be a few degrees higher than standard figures for this period," – the director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Mykola Kulbida said during the briefing.
According to him, currently an inactive atmospheric front is approaching from the northwest, which will be forming the weather conditions in Ukraine in the coming days. Thus, October 22, there will be minor rains in the north, 21-22 – in the eastern and in some places of the central part of the country and in the north of the Left Bank, there will be rains. Temperature will be +10 … +15 ° C, in the southern and western regions – up to +18 … +20 ° C, October 22, in the southern part and the far west – +14 … +19 ° C, in the north of the Left Bank – + 6 … +9 ° C.
Short cold snap is expected on 23-24 of October. In the east the temperature will drop to +4 … +9 ° C. October 24, in the west – +14 … +19 ° C, in Transcarpathia – up to +22 ° C, in the rest of the country – +10 … +15 ° C.
October 25-27, in the Left Bank the temperature will be in the range of +6 … +12 ° C, in the rest of Ukraine – +9 … +15 ° C, in the western regions – up to +18 ° C.
The slight increase in water levels in most rivers of the Crimea and the Ukrainian part of the Danube caused by rains, that have occured for the past week, does not constitute a threat, but only improves hydrological situation in these areas.
"Thus, we can conclude that starting from October 23 and until the end of the month mostly dry, relatively warm weather is expected in Ukraine", – Mykola Kulbida said.
