Wanted to “sing carol”: an Uzhgorod resident detained a woman who had sneaked into his house

A woman who sneaked into an Uzhgorod resident’s apartment says she wanted to sing carols

A woman, who had broken into another person’s home, was detained on January 5. It happened in Uzhgorod on Blystiv Street. The offender was detained by the homeowner himself, after which he called the police. After the detention, the woman, together with the applicant, was taken to the police station to establish the circumstances.

Officer of the Uzhgorod police department Ivan Beletsky told the details of the case:

Conversation at night with a woman detained for breaking and entering. The victim and herself are there with me.

Us: – Why did you sneaked into the hallway of this man’s house?

Detainee: – I wanted to sing carols.

Us: – But it’s not Christmas yet.

Detainee: – I didn’t know.

Us: – Why did you enter the hallway so quietly and were making no sound in it until you were detained by the homeowner?

Detainee: silence.

Us: – If you really know at least one carol and sing it here, we will try to believe your story.

Us: – You see, sometimes a carol can even save ex-convicts.

Merry Christmas to you all!! Carol wisely 😉
