Victor Baloha explained why he did not vote for the mobilization

MP from Transcarpathia Victor Baloha on his page in Facebook explained the reasons for his decision not to vote for the next wave of partial mobilization:

"Army definitely needs to be strengthened. But not at the expense of boys, of which they want to make "professional soldiers" in 26 days.

Therefore, I did not vote for THIS mobilization. I agree that the army should be expanded. I agree that we need to defend ourselves. But the war has been going on for almost a year, and they still have not established a system of training for reservists and recruits.

I will vote for mobilization, if it involves complete provision of soldiers with modern ammunition, life and health insurance, wages at the level of 15-25 thousand hryvnias. And only if they are trained for at least 6 months prior to going to the war.

This is my position. And I do not want to hear that "there is a war and if you do not vote, tomorrow Putin will be in Kyiv." We voted once, twice, but now, gentlemen, it’s on your conscience. The government had the year to establish a system of military training. Instead, they once again send to the war people who are not trained to fight, not protected by the state, not equipped adequately, and who then pay with their lives for someone’s inaction" – Victor Baloha wrote.
