Victor Baloha: “Detention of Tymoshenko in prison is an isolation of the country from the process of global development”

Victor Baloha commented on today’s decision of the Supreme Special Court whereby the sentence of Pechersky Court and the Court of Appeal decision on the gas case of Yulia Tymoshenko remain unchanged.

"I can not refrain from commenting on the court decision on Tymoshenko. I could not be suspected of belonging to the fan club of ex-Prime Minister. But we are all convinced that the time has come to solve this political problem" – the politician wrote on Facebook.

"All processes around Ukraine lead me to a single conclusion: detention of Tymoshenko in prison is an isolation of the country from the general process of global development. If our way is on the periphery of the progress, then this decision is, unfortunately, right."
