On Thursday, April 11, at 16.00, the opening of the personal exhibition of works by a well-known regional artist and teacher Vasyl Vovchok will be held in the halls of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum.
The visitors will see the presention of the collection of paintings created mostly over the past five years. A big part of the exhibition will be devoted to Transcarpathia – it’s picturesque landscapes, colorful portraits and figurative compositions. In addition, the author will present cityscapes inspired by travels, in particular to Italy and the United States.
The vernissage is timed to the anniversary of the author.
Vasyl Vovchok takes a prominent part in the life of the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, is a member of its board. Since 2014, he has been heading the painting section, actively contributes to the education of young artists.

The author’s works are kept in museum and private collections in Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Britain, the USA and others.
