Yesterday, at the Exhibition Hall of the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life, there was the opening of the exhibition by Valeriy Fedurtsya – the keeper of unique Transcarpathian traditions of root plastics and wood carving.
He says that he decided to do wood carving under the influence of older generation artists, including Zoltan Bakoniy and Mykhailo Zeykan.
"They would never shout at anyone, gave every person a chance to express their true "self", and not replicated art zombies with a specific set of technical skills," – Mr. Valeriy says.
