Uzhgorod will celebrate the Victory Day with brass bands parade on May 8

The March parade will begin at 11:30 am, on Teatralna Square. The bands will march through main streets of the city and return to the square. 10 brass bands will take part in the march. Those include the brass band of Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic (art director – the Honoured Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Spivak), the brass band of Uzhgorod State Music College (art director – the Honored Artist of Ukraine Ferenc Tomic), the brass band of Mukachevo art school for children № 1 (art director – Stanislav Perkovsky), the folk brass band "Helicon" of Slalyava District House of Culture (art director – Vasyl Ploskina).

The holiday March parade will culminate with a brass bands concert which will start at 12.30, on Teatralna Square and S.Petofi Square.
