Uzhgorod will celebrate its 1126th birthday on September 13-15 – and beyond

However, the celebration will last at least a week. The program includes various cultural, art, literary and sports events.

The main stage will be set on Sandor Petofi square, on September 14-15, NK (Nastya Kamensky) and Svitlana Tarabarova will headline the festivities; Alina Pash, Blitz Contemporary Dance Studio, Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts and PADIYUN will also perform.

Theater art connoisseurs will have the opportunity to enjoy productions, including actors from abroad, during the second international festival "Monologues over the Uzh".

There will also be "Sweet Street" event for those who enjoy delicacies, a mountain bike tournament, open air history lessons, an ethno program and many other interesting things.
