August 16, in the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theater "Bavka", they showed an interactive musical laser show of the Donetsk Academic Puppet Theater titled "The adventures of Masha and her new friends," where giant dolls were the actors.
The Donetsk Puppet Theater visited Transcarpathia for the first time and came just for one day within their tour in Western Ukraine. However, as one of the organizers of the tour noted, "Uzhgorod audience are very nice and responsive."
As for the performance, it took place in one breath. Within one hour the children learned how to count, some information about animals, and even danced. One of the features of the performance was the diversity of songs, which both children and adults could sing along to. The laser show and soap bubbles were another features of the guests on stage.
The show "The adventures of Masha and her new friends" was attended by a lot of little fans of the lead character, who greeted her with applause and sincere smiles. Adults smiled too. Sometimes you could hear children’s voices in the hall asking questions, "Where is Masha?", "Where is the bear?", "Why is she crying?".
And Masha came to Transcarpathia not alone, many of her friends, who were an integral part of the performance (hedgehog, sheep, bear, etc.), came out on stage. They helped the girl with their advice and actions.
Young viewers liked the show. The Director of Regional Academic Puppet Theatre "Bavka» Miroslav Petiy also enjoyed it.
So, we hope to see the Donetsk Theatre with new and exciting performances again.
