Uzhgorod station of emergency medical care celebrates 70th anniversary

On average, nearly 100 calls a day and more than 30,000 calls a year

to Uzhgorod station of emergency medical care.

In October, the station turns 70 years old. Currently, there are 10 crews there, four of which are specialized. They respond to both urgent and non-urgent calls.

Over the years, the conditions of work have improved, but workers admit that they often have to respond to false calls. 

Operators of the medical care station work round the clock. Now, there are four of them in a shift. 2 years ago, they received several new vehicles.
