The prestigious international kickboxing tournament Slovak Open 2018 took place in Bratislava, Slovakia, from the 23rd to 25th of February.
About 1,000 athletes from 11 countries took part in it. Representatives of Uzhgorod were the Korolovych team.
The students of Vladislav Korolovych and Valentina Hlukhenko traditionally did not disappoint: the team of Uzhgorod won the 9th place among 90 clubs. In the light-contact they were the third, and in pointfighting – the eleventh.
Here are all the winners:
Dasha Korolovych: 1st place in the light-contact in the weight category under 32 kg and silver medal in the category under 37 kg, as well as silver medal in pointfighting under 37 kg.
Stanislav Sember: "gold" in the light-contact under 37 kg, "bronze" in pointfighting under 42 kg.
Masha Korolovych: in the light-contact, 1st place under 28 kg and the 2nd place under 32 kg, as well as "bronze" in pointfighting under 28 kg.
Daryna Yatsko won the 2nd place in the light-contact under 28 kg.
So, the overall result is three gold, four silver and two bronze awards. Congratulations!
