Uzhgorod Skansen invites to celebrate the International Museum Day together

The program of the festival, to be held on 18 of May includes:

10.00 – Opening of the VII Regional children’s folk festival "Rainbow chime".

11.00 – Family Day of the multidisciplinary lyceum "Intellect" (secondary school number 11 of Uzhgorod) in the Skansen.

– from 19.30 – workshops: pottery (master – Yulia Egorova-Rogova); bead looming (master – Khrystyna Beznisko-Chayka).

For guests:

– meeting with folk artists and the fair and sale of arts and crafts.

– overview and thematic tours of the museum.

– photoshoot in the national costumes from the stock collections of the museum;

For children:

– in the estate from the village of Tybava in Svalyava district – "Know your land": a wooden puzzle game "Journey to Uzhgorod Skansen" and traditional children’s games and entertainment.

In the exhibition halls:

– Third exhibition-competition "World of Easter Egg – 2017".

– "Talismans of unity" – exhibition of works from the museum’s collections (embroidery, weaving, ceramics).

– "In the trail of traditions" – exhibition of pottery by Mykhailo Halas from the museum collections dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the author.
