Uzhgorod residents are suggested to protest against the terrace on Korzo electronically

The debate about the controversial terrace, which has recently appeared on Korzo and angered a considerable number of citizens, is not simmering.

Experts and community activists point out: it blocks the main pedestrian street of the city and violates the rules for the installation of summer terraces.

Instead, the owner and his support group emphasize that the terrace is just beautiful. The City Hall has adopted a wait-and-see attitude, although the Mayor assured that if people are against the terrace it woud be dismantled.

However, soon the City Council will have to address this topic because signatures under the petition to dismantle the terrace have been collected.

Meanwhile, Uzhgorod residents are suggested to protest against the terrace on Korzo using an electronic appeal.

Roman Sarkanych published in the group "Uzhgorod" on facebook the following message:

"Attention to all who are against the terrace of the "Fabbrika Drugetti" cafe! In order to have it removed from Korzo as soon as possible, you must submit an online request for it. To do this, go to "My Account" (green button in the upper right corner) at the site of the City Hall, press the button "Electronic appeal", paste the text of the appeal which you can download HERE, then enter your full name, address (eg 88000, Uzhgorod, Lehotsky st., 64, app.21), email (eg [email protected]) and press the button "Send request"."
