Lately, Uzhgorod residents have been discussing the damage to the recently laid tile on Petofi Square. In the comments, outraged people demanded that the city authorities explain why the new tile collapsed so quickly.
The Department of Municipal Economy commented on this situation:
– Today, the commission inspected the location of the pavement collapse on S. Petofi Square with representatives of the contractor "KBK" LLC, the manager of the house and specialists of the municipal economy department.
The detailed inspection of the basements revealed leaks of the interior house sewage that could cause soil washout.

The manager and the MU "Vodokanal of Uzhgorod" were instructed to clean the sewerage network and seal the leaks.
