Uzhgorod patrol policemen will be tried for intentional bodily harm

The press service of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region informed about the opening of criminal proceedings over abuse of power by officers of the Patrol Police Office in Transcarpathian region.
According to preliminary information, in January, when drawing up reports of administrative offenses, patrol police officers inflicted intentional bodily harm to the applicant.
The preliminary legal classification in this proceedings is Part 2 of Article 355 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – abuse of power by a law enforcement officer involving violence.
