The third Saturday of June is the international day when masters of patchwork around the world get together and sew in the open air popularizing this type of needlework. Irina Lukashenko from Uzhgorod announces on Facebook a needlework picnic in our city.
She wrote: "This year, I am once again spending this day in Uzhgorod. Therefore, I invite all Uzhgorod residents who enjoy needlework to join me so that I will not be alone. Come to Teatralna Square, to the park under chestnut trees near the Philharmonic on June 20 at 11:00. Bring needles, threads, various pieces of fabric, scissors for fabric and paper – for a master class. And bring your works – we will arrange a kind of impromptu exhibition. And, of course, a good mood."
